Shateka is a 21 year old part-time model and full time student at Western Connecticut State University, where she is currently in her junior year as a nursing major. Shateka is no stranger to the Miss Connecticut Teen America Pageant and has held two previous titles which include Miss Bridgeport Teen America 2002-03' and Miss Fairfield County Teen America 2004. Shateka takes ballet & jazz at Beaulieu Ballet School in Bridgeport, CT. She is currently auditioning for Season 9 of America's Next Top Model, and has made it to the second round thus far. With her passion for being involved with the community and children, she is currently working as a nanny and loves it!
