Brielle Grestini
Miss Connecticut Teen America 2009

Brielle Grestini is 15 years old and a Sophomore at Hamden High School. She lives in Hamden with her mom, and brother and sisters. In her spare time she loves to play softball and soccer. During the summer she helps assist with her sister Jillian's softball team and her brother & sisters TeeBall games. Brielle also enjoys singing, dancing, modeling, watching CSI, cooking, making brownies and hanging out with her friends.

Brielle has been a part of many different fundraisers and events, Tip a Fireman: MDA, St. Jude's "Fighting Childhood Cancer" and singing for charity events. She has also been a Peer Mediator, Human Relations leader and was awarded the Community Service award. Brielle has been the recipient of many awards through school, some include, Honor Role award, Peer Mediation, Human Relations, Town wide chorus, and the President's Academic Achievement Award for Education.

Brielle's Issue of Concern is Kidney Reflux Disease, "Making Parents More Aware." She chose this topic because of her sister Jillian who was diagnosed with the disease 3 years ago. Recently her younger sister Sophia was also diagnosed with the same genetic disease.  Brielle wants parents to know what to look for and how to get treatment so their child doesn't to go through what her sister's are going through now. She is planning on attending schools and PTA meetings to "Make Parents more Aware."

Brielle's future plans and ambitions are to continue her education, go to college and someday be a top CSI agent in Miami Florida
