Keirsten McDonald is 14 years old and is a freshmen at Shelton High School, in Shelton CT. She resides with her family, Dad, John, Mom, Jami, sisters, Tara & Jenna, and her cousin, Chris in Shelton. Her interests include dancing, cheerleading, acting, singing, and going to concerts. Keirsten is Member of the Drama club and the manager of the Shelton Intermediate School Cheer Squad.
Keirsten has been volunteering her time with St. Jude's Children's Hospital, and hopes to work with them more in the future. Every November, she joins her church, Christian Community Church in Derby, with assembling shoeboxes full of gifts for Operation Christmas Child. She also enjoys being an assistant teacher at every year's Vacation Bible School.
 Keirsten took six years of dance at The Children's Studio for the Performing Arts in Shelton. CT. Thanks to her pageant coach Kristyn, she has now discovered the beauty of Lyrical dancing, and hopes to study this form of dancing more.
Keirsten was a cheerleader for Shelton Pop Warner for 8 years, and for Shelton Intermediate School for two years. Recently, Keirsten began participating in Drama Club at Shelton High. In her spare time she enjoys going to concerts and hanging out with her friends and family.
Keirsten's future ambitions are to first earn the title of Miss Connecticut Teen America then either become a 1st grade Teacher or to pursue a career in the fashion industry.
